Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residents as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policy
- Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and clinical status in the medical record
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Report changes in condition promptly and participate in care planning to improve outcomes
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — ready to practice
- Current or compact-state-eligible LPN licensure for Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain)
- Basic clinical assessment and medication administration experience (per-diem experience welcomed)
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing / LPN program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic nursing assessment and infection control principles
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or comfort learning new systems
- Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork
- Compassionate patient interaction and family communication
