Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to implement care plans
- Educate patients and families about care, medications, and follow-up instructions
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential; ability to hold valid LPN license in Georgia required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or must obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Prior LPN experience in hospital or long-term care preferred
Education
- LPN diploma, vocational nursing certificate, or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and basic clinical skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Electronic medical record familiarity or ability to learn quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
