Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients as an LPN on the floor
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
• Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures
• Support patient comfort, education and discharge planning with clear communication

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain one
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfort with medication administration, basic assessments, and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliability for assigned shifts
• Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, or a related setting is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Patient assessment and recognizing changes in condition
• Clear, timely documentation and charting practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Infection control, safety protocols, and adherence to facility policies
• Ability to work independently during assigned per-diem shifts
