Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in procedure rooms during endoscopic procedures
Position patients comfortably and safely for exams
Collect and handle specimens with care
Perform bedside precleaning of scopes
Set up and break down endoscopic equipment
Restock supplies to keep the unit running smoothly

Qualifications

At least 1 year of previous GI tech experience
Current BLS certification
Ability to work in a fast-paced ambulatory environment

Knowledge & Skills

GI tech procedures and patient positioning
Specimen collection and handling
Scope set up, break down, and precleaning
Inventory restocking and organization
Optional: Experience with esophageal motility studies
