Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shift, 8:00 AM start, days to be determined

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform standard EEGs in inpatient and outpatient settings
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process to ensure comfort
Monitor and record brain wave activity accurately
Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with medical staff to provide quality patient care

Qualifications

Current CPR certification (BLS) required
Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) credential required
Minimum of 2 years hospital experience performing standard EEGs
Must be able to float as needed within scope
Active California state license or compact eligibility preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in standard EEG procedures and equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately
Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills for electronic charting
