Location: Plantation, FL

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (day) or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (night), including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform CT scans and X-rays to create detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues
Operate GE Discovery 450 and other advanced imaging equipment
Work closely with physicians to ensure accurate diagnostic images
Provide compassionate care and support to patients during procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all protocols
Collaborate with a dedicated team of 2 CT techs per shift

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of experience in CT technology
Current BLS certification is required
ARRT certification is required
ACLS certification is preferred but not required
RT(T), ASRT, or FASRT certifications are a plus
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT scanning, MRI, and X-ray procedures
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
Knowledge of anatomy and imaging protocols
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
