Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support activities of daily living
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and feeding as needed
- Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Keep accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania and ability to work in Eastern Time zone facilities
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care
- Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with charting and handoff communication
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and safe transfer techniques
- Teamwork, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
