Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Perform accurate documentation of care, vitals, and patient interactions
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or eligible) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Ability to work an 8-hour shift and provide consistent, high-quality patient care
Comfort with basic patient lifting/transfers and physical aspects of care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient hygiene, feeding, and toileting assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe body mechanics and patient transfer techniques
Understanding of infection prevention and control practices
Clear verbal communication and teamwork skills
