Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and basic clinical support to residents
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Support safe, clean, and respectful living environments for residents
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (aligned with Pennsylvania state requirements)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
- Compassion, strong communication, and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
- Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow care plans and accept direction from nursing staff
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and assisting residents
