Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, from bathing and dressing to mobility support
• Administer medications accurately and monitor for side effects
• Conduct regular safety checks to ensure a secure environment
• Offer social-emotional support, enhancing resident well-being and quality of life
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Transport residents within the facility as needed

Qualifications

• Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required
• Certification of Nurse Delegation for Nursing Assistants required
• Certification of WA DSHS Dementia, Mental Health, and Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training on hire
• Ability to pass WA state name/date of birth and national fingerprint criminal background checks
• N95 mask fitting using approved facility masks
• TB testing as required per WAC 388-78A

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient care, daily living assistance, and medication passing
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) EMR is preferred
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Strong communication and social-emotional support abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control
