Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition changes
Support nursing staff by following care plans and reporting observations promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
Maintain clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and families
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Current CNA certification/license as required by Pennsylvania
Proven hands-on patient care experience or completion of an approved CNA program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with patient hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Skilled at taking and recording vital signs and basic clinical observations
Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting
