Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Monitor and report patient conditions and changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support hygienic needs, mobility, feeding, and comfort measures with dignity
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with nurses and care team
• Assist with safe patient transfers and follow infection control and safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive resident experience by treating each person with respect

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania (required)
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings (TB, immunizations)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform patient transfers and stand for shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to resident-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic nursing care principles and resident hygiene
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Vital signs measurement and documentation best practices
• Infection control standards and PPE usage
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
