Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and mobility
- Monitor, document and report patient conditions and changes to the care team
- Support safe transfers and proper use of medical equipment
- Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients and families
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (state registry required; Pennsylvania preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient centered mindset
- Prior CNA experience preferred but new grads with enthusiasm are encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completed CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands on patient care and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Time management and reliable attendance
- Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
