Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Assist with vital signs, intake/output documentation, and basic clinical observations
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to follow care plans and report changes in patient condition
• Support patient comfort and dignity while promoting independence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate clearly at shift handoff
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep patients safe

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Georgia certification preferred)
• Active basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable performing essential patient care tasks and following care plans
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible per diem shifts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proof of required immunizations and background checks per facility policy

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and infection control
• Ability to assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) safely and compassionately
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with patients and team members
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs during shifts
