Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support in a respectful manner
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients
- Accurately document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support admission, transfer and discharge processes as needed
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- Current basic life support or CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team oriented mindset
- Reliable, punctual and committed to patient centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of patient care and safety
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Infection control and basic hygiene practices
- Clear communication with patients, families and clinical staff
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
