Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor patients’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Comfortable assisting with daily living activities and gentle patient handling
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational nursing care and patient hygiene practices
- Basic infection control and safety protocols
- Accurate charting and documentation skills
- Ability to work calmly in fast-paced or emotional situations
- Respect for patient dignity, privacy, and cultural diversity
