Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe patient transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and follow established care plans
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment and build trusting relationships with residents and families
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care
- Previous experience as a CNA is a plus and welcomed
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Comfortable with lifting, transferring, and assisting patients
- Good charting and documentation practices
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
