Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with patient transfers, personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and standards

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) in good standing
Prior experience in a patient care role preferred but new grads welcome
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and infection control practices
Comfortable with lifting and assisting patients safely
Ability to observe, document, and report patient status changes
Good time management and the ability to work independently during shifts
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff
