Shift Type: Tuesday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Day shift; 12-hour per diem assignment on 03/31/2026)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Help with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Support infection control practices and follow facility policies to keep patients safe
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and families to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) credential required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with patient mobility, ADLs, and routine clinical tasks
Friendly, patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Successful completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Vital signs measurement and documentation
Patient transfers and safe lifting techniques
Basic infection control practices and PPE usage
Observational skills to notice and report changes in patient condition
Teamwork and clear communication in a fast-paced clinical setting
Basic electronic charting or paper charting familiarity
