Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing and toileting assistance
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence and comfort
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Measure and record vital signs and basic health information accurately
- Maintain clear, timely documentation to support continuity of care
- Help keep resident spaces clean, safe and dignified
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Ability to work the scheduled days and hours: Sunday, Friday and Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Local candidates only per facility note
- Comfortable working in a team-focused long-term care or skilled nursing environment
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident hygiene needs
- Ability to perform basic vital sign checks and communicate findings
- Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Clear, respectful communication with residents and team members
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Infection control and hand hygiene practices
