Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts; specific start and end times vary by assignment and will be confirmed with scheduling (flexible schedule)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with vital signs, hygiene, transfers, and mobility
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
- Document care accurately and timely according to facility protocols
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kind, reliable care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent
- Active and unrestricted license/registration as required by Pennsylvania
- Recent hands-on experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
- Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
- Comfort with moving and transferring patients using safe body mechanics
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Ability to follow care plans and verbal or written instructions
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
