Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility needs with dignity and respect
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes promptly to the nursing team
- Accurately document care provided and maintain clear communication with colleagues
- Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
- Assist with transfers, positioning, and safe use of mobility aids as directed
- Engage residents with kindness, supporting their comfort and emotional needs
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active authorization to work in Pennsylvania (state CNA registration as applicable)
- Ability to perform duties during 8-hour shifts and communicate effectively with team and residents
- Willingness to complete facility-required screenings and onboarding steps
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamentals of resident care and activities of daily living
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Understanding of infection control and standard precautions
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and care teams
- Reliable documentation and time management skills
- Teamwork mindset and ability to follow care plans
