Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care
Location: Glen Mills, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide compassionate, respectful bedside care and support resident dignity
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Help with safe transfers and mobility assistance to prevent falls
- Support mealtime assistance and monitor nutritional intake
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
- Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents safe
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CNA certification (state-specific)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living and resident care needs
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
- Comfortable with basic clinical tasks like vital signs and mobility assistance
- Ability to document accurately and communicate clearly with nursing staff
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
