Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with mobility, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Accurately document care provided and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Support patient dignity and comfort while following facility policies and infection-control practices
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
- Active, unrestricted license/certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Comfortable working an 8-hour clinical shift and delivering hands-on patient care
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with nursing staff
- Stable work history and commitment to patient-centered care
Education
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational patient care skills and safe patient handling
- Basic understanding of infection prevention and control
- Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
