Contract Type: Per-Diem

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document patient conditions accurately and promptly
- Support nursing staff with procedures, transfers, and mobility assistance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
- Participate in care planning and follow established care protocols
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable with hands-on patient care and lifting/transfer assistance
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous direct care experience is a plus but new grads are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, bathing, feeding, mobility assistance
- Patient safety and infection control practices
- Documentation and charting fundamentals
- Empathy, patience, and effective verbal communication
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses
