Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with CNA scope of practice
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support a clean, safe environment by following infection prevention practices
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
- Participate in orientation and unit trainings to maintain high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Willingness and availability to complete required orientation (orientation indicated in posting)
- Comfort providing hands-on patient care with a compassionate attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent patient experiences
Education
- Completion of an accredited CNA program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational patient care techniques and safe transfer/positioning
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
