Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and communicate changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support safe, clean patient environments and follow infection control practices
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning with safe techniques
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with the care team to help deliver excellent patient experiences
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and meet physical demands of the role
- Clean background check and required immunizations per facility policy
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and safe handling techniques
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Basic charting and documentation practices
