Shift Type: Per Diem / Pool, flexible shifts as-needed; schedule varies (day, evening, night, and weekends possible)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care for long-term care patients
- Perform thorough assessments and create/update individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in the medical record
- Participate in infection control, immunization, and safety initiatives
- Support residents' activities of daily living and promote quality of life
Qualifications
- Valid RN license (ability to obtain/maintain state licensure for assignments)
- BLS certification required
- Experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
- Must be able to pass respirator fit test, respirator evaluation, and 10-panel drug screen
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
- Successful license/certificate verification and health clearance
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical skills in long-term care nursing and resident assessment
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Infection prevention and control knowledge
- Comfort with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
