Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Assess changes in resident condition and escalate concerns to the care team
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the resident record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists
• Ensure compliance with infection control, immunization, and screening requirements
• Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (PA license preferred or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience or interest in long term care nursing
• Successful completion of Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Ability to pass required health screenings and Trinity 10 panel drug screen

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfortable working in long term care / LTC environments
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing and interdisciplinary staff
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and electronic charting
• Infection prevention, vaccine and screening protocol knowledge
• Ability to adapt quickly in per diem and variable-shift settings
