Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Assess residents' conditions and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in the medical record
- Monitor and report changes in condition promptly to ensure resident safety
- Support infection control practices and adherence to facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (state licensure required and will be verified)
- Current BLS required
- ACLS required
- Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
- Must pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen and required health screenings (TB, immunizations, COVID-19, influenza, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) — active RN license required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of long-term care nursing principles and resident-focused interventions
- Clinical assessment and medication administration expertise
- Familiarity with infection control, immunization requirements, and TB screening protocols
- Competency with clinical documentation and following facility care plans
- Comfort with competency testing processes and demonstrated clinical skills
