Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Assess residents' conditions and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in the medical record
• Monitor and report changes in condition promptly to ensure resident safety
• Support infection control practices and adherence to facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (state licensure required and will be verified)
• Current BLS required
• ACLS required
• Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• Must pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen and required health screenings (TB, immunizations, COVID-19, influenza, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) — active RN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of long-term care nursing principles and resident-focused interventions
• Clinical assessment and medication administration expertise
• Familiarity with infection control, immunization requirements, and TB screening protocols
• Competency with clinical documentation and following facility care plans
• Comfort with competency testing processes and demonstrated clinical skills
