Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with orders
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete Trinity skills checklists
• Participate in specialty competency testing to ensure best practices
• Support infection control measures and adhere to facility health requirements

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (state license verification required)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience or interest in long-term care settings
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Compliance with required health screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, physical/health statement, COVID-19 and influenza vaccines
• Successful completion of Trinity 10 panel drug screen and background checks

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Infection control and immunization compliance
• Ability to follow facility protocols and complete specialty competency testing
• Effective communication and teamwork in a long-term care environment
• Comfort with variable per diem scheduling and adaptable staffing needs
