Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with orders
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete Trinity skills checklists
- Participate in specialty competency testing to ensure best practices
- Support infection control measures and adhere to facility health requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (state license verification required)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Experience or interest in long-term care settings
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Compliance with required health screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, physical/health statement, COVID-19 and influenza vaccines
- Successful completion of Trinity 10 panel drug screen and background checks
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Infection control and immunization compliance
- Ability to follow facility protocols and complete specialty competency testing
- Effective communication and teamwork in a long-term care environment
- Comfort with variable per diem scheduling and adaptable staffing needs
