Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and daily assistance to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, mobility and feeding with dignity
- Monitor and report resident changes promptly to nursing staff to support excellent outcomes
- Perform point-of-care tasks following established Trinity skills checklists and competency testing
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete assigned care tasks reliably during each shift
- Participate in required screenings, immunizations and drug testing to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification required (License/Certificate Verification will be completed)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as part of onboarding
- Up-to-date immunizations and testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
- Successful Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and physical/health statement
- Ability to work per diem schedule and adapt to varying shift assignments
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of ADLs and resident-centered care
- Comfortable with infection control practices and personal protective equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and interdisciplinary teams
- Reliable time management and documentation skills
- Ability to follow competency-based checklists and facility protocols
