Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using safe body mechanics
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
- Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents safe
- Participate in Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist to maintain high standards
- Collaborate with the care team and communicate effectively with residents and families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Willingness to complete license/certificate verification
- Ability to pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen and required health screenings
- Up-to-date immunizations per policy (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
- Completion of 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon) as required
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently in a per diem pool
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and resident personal care
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Comfortable taking vital signs and observing for clinical changes
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits
