Shift Type: 12-hour evening and night shifts (schedule varies; primarily evenings and nights). Typical cadence supports ~72-80 hours per 2 weeks. Shift assignments may rotate as needed to support ER, ICU and PACU coverage.

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide primary nursing care for ER, ICU and PACU patients with professionalism and clinical precision
- Float to other nursing units to assist as needed—be the extra set of skilled hands when the unit gets busy
- Perform telemetry monitoring and respond promptly to abnormal findings
- Participate as an active member of the rapid response and code blue teams when called
- Assist with patient transport and bedside support to keep patient flow moving
- Expedite care on other floors by coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and supporting timely interventions
- Sit with and monitor assigned patients when observation and focused care are required
Qualifications
- ER and ICU experience REQUIRED for consideration
- Experience providing care for ER, ICU and PACU patients and ability to float between units
- Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and participating in rapid response/code blue events
- Ability to work 12-hour evening and night shifts and meet expected shift-hour commitments
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing principles and acute care for ER/ICU/PACU patients
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Rapid response and code blue team workflows and emergency interventions
- Patient transport and hands-on bedside support across multiple units
- Adaptability to float-pool assignments and shifting clinical priorities
