Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Primarily day 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; must be willing to work occasional night 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, and weekend coverage as needed (rotating coverage)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to residents following established nursing care procedures
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing supervisors
- Support resident comfort and dignity while documenting care accurately
- Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in good standing (state license required)
- Experience in long term care or nursing care procedures preferred
- Willingness to work primarily 12-hour day shifts and occasional nights as needed
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing per employer policy
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of long term care routines and resident-centered care
- Ability to perform ADLs and assist with mobility safely
- Familiarity with documentation practices and care plan implementation
- Basic infection control and safety procedures
- Teamwork mindset and ability to take direction from nursing supervisors
