Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through thorough assessment and clinical decision making
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, and discharge needs
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating concerns when needed
• Support rehabilitation goals and promote functional independence for patients

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license (New Mexico license preferred or compact RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or specialty credentials are a plus
• Comfortable with med administration, assessments, and rehab-focused care
• Ability to pass background and drug screening as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical prioritization skills
• Experience with medication administration and IV therapies
• Familiarity with rehab-focused care and functional mobility support
• Accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Effective collaboration with therapists, physicians, and support staff
