Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients as an RN at the facility
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and promptly communicate changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while following protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Document patient care activities clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Support unit flow by coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Mexico state license or multistate compact license preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Clinical experience in acute care settings is a strong plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on a fast-paced team
• Proof of immunizations and standard onboarding requirements for travel clinicians

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred where possible

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid assessment and clinical judgment skills for adult patient populations
• Familiarity with medication administration and electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and remain calm under pressure
• Patient education and discharge planning skills
• Team-focused approach and effective interpersonal skills
