Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents as a licensed practical nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Document care clearly and promptly in the patient record
• Coordinate with nursing staff and support personnel to ensure continuity of care
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with clinical and emotional guidance
• Promote resident safety and dignity while following facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — state licensure required or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Minimum clinical experience as an LPN preferred (travel experience a plus)
• Own reliable transportation (required)
• Availability to work both weekends as noted in the assignment
• Ability to provide or secure your own housing for the assignment
• Current BLS/CPR certification is preferred or required per facility policy

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Familiarity with long-term care and skilled nursing routines
• Comfortable with documentation and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
• Resident-centered approach with empathy and patience
