Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to patients during night shift
- Administer medications, treatments, and document patient responses accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Monitor patient status and escalate concerns to providers in a timely manner
- Perform nursing assessments, charting, and handoffs that ensure continuity of care
- Support patient and family education with clear, respectful communication
- Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN or RN license (appropriate to the role you are applying for)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) desirable
- Prior clinical experience in acute care or similar setting preferred
- Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and health screening requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on night shift
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Good prioritization and time management in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards
