Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnosis
• Position patients safely and compassionately while explaining procedures to reduce anxiety
• Follow strict radiation safety and infection control practices to protect patients and staff
• Perform required pre-procedure checks and document patient screening results accurately
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to prioritize urgent studies and support patient care
• Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate technical problems as needed
• Complete accurate records in the imaging system and ensure timely transfer of images for interpretation

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in CT (CT core skill required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Successful license/certificate verification as required by the facility
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations (fit test, influenza vaccine, Trinity color vision, 2-step PPD or IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, physical, and Trinity 10 panel drug screen)
• Willingness and ability to work Friday-Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Strong patient-centered communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency operating CT scanners and following imaging protocols
• Solid understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and image optimization
• Radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
• Patient positioning, care, and monitoring during imaging
• Image quality assessment and basic troubleshooting
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with imaging workflow systems
