Shift Type: Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (in-house) with on-call 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (in-house) with on-call 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM; Sunday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (in-house) with on-call 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM. Shift type: Rotating (day shifts with overnight on-call).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and perform high-quality CT examinations following facility protocols
• Perform radiographic exams and ensure image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• Document procedures, patient histories and results accurately in Cerner
• Respond professionally and promptly to on-call requests overnight and provide safe patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the care team to prioritize and triage exams
• Maintain equipment, complete competency checklists and participate in specialty-specific testing
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols and facility vaccination/health requirements

Qualifications

• Current state Radiologic Technologist license (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Proven experience as a CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist (CT and Radiography skills expected)
• BLS certification (required)
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities, including evenings and overnight coverage
• Experience with Cerner or other EHRs for documentation and image tracking
• Successful completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Ability to pass required health screenings and drug testing (2-step PPD or IGRA, fit test, vaccine and immunity requirements listed)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• State Radiologic Technologist licensure required
• ARRT certification or equivalent registry preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT protocols, cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety
• Skilled in patient positioning and producing diagnostically useful images
• Experience using Cerner for orders, documentation and result entry
• Familiarity with on-call triage, escalation protocols and urgent imaging workflows
• Excellent patient communication and ability to work independently in a weekend-focused role
• Competence in completing competency testing and maintaining required certifications
