Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert, patient-centered nursing care in the cardiac cath lab during procedures and recovery
• Support and assist with LHC/PCI and Structural Heart procedures including ASD and PFO work
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Meditech
• Prepare and operate or assist with specialized imaging and interventional equipment such as GE X-ray, IVUS, and FFR
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery expectations, and post-procedure care
• Advocate for patient safety and high quality outcomes in a fast-paced procedural environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience with cardiac cath lab or related interventional cardiology experience
• Hands-on experience with LHC/PCI and Structural Heart procedures (ASD/PFO) is required
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records preferred
• Comfortable supporting EP procedures, TAVR, EP study and ablation, and using IVUS/FFR equipment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong procedural nursing skills specific to the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation and electronic charting
• Experience with imaging equipment such as GE X-ray and Philips systems
• Knowledge of LHC/PCI, structural heart interventions, EP studies and ablations
• Ability to anticipate clinician needs during procedures and act calmly under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a procedural setting
