Roles & Responsibilities

• Treat patients under the direction and supervision of physical therapists using therapeutic exercise, massage, gait and balance training
• Deliver patient-centered therapeutic interventions that improve mobility and quality of life
• Record patients' progress after each treatment and report outcomes to the supervising physical therapist
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and treatment reports

Qualifications

• Proven experience with therapeutic exercise, massage, gait training, and balance training (as described in the role)
• Strong patient documentation and treatment reporting skills
• Comfort working under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• State Physical Therapist Assistant licensure/certification as required (confirm state-specific requirements prior to start)
• Effective communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

• Patient treatment and therapeutic interventions expertise
• Proficiency in therapeutic exercise techniques
• Massage techniques applicable to physical therapy treatment plans
• Gait training and balance training methods
• Accurate patient documentation and treatment reporting
