Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient functional abilities and design individualized occupational therapy plans
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions that improve daily living skills and independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, home programs, and safety strategies
• Document progress and outcomes thoroughly and timely to support continuity of care
• Contribute to clinical skills development and help build expertise in specialty areas

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Nebraska (required)
• BLS (American Heart Association) for Healthcare Providers required upon hire
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment and committed to improving clinical skills
• Willingness to begin on a quick-start timeline and integrate into the local care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and clinical assessment skills
• Experience or interest in developing specialty clinical expertise
• Excellent communication and teamwork to collaborate with nurses, PTs, SLPs and physicians
• Skilled documentation and treatment planning
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual patient goals
