Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care for patients of all ages, including healthy pediatrics
• Provide hospital-based perioperative management across a broad case mix (orthopedics, GI, vascular, GYN, neuro, ENT, robotics, trauma)
• Document and communicate care clearly in Epic to support continuity and team coordination
• Work within the medical direction care team model to supervise or collaborate with colleagues as appropriate
• Manage acute and trauma cases in a Level II trauma environment with composure and clinical judgement
• Contribute to efficient OR flow across multiple rooms and suites to help the team handle a high daily case volume

Qualifications

• Active CRNA credential (required)
• Comfortable and experienced with pediatric anesthesia (explicitly required)
• Experience working in hospital-based perioperative settings and operating rooms
• Familiarity with Epic EMR for documentation and charting
• Ability to work within a medical direction care team model
• Comfort and experience managing trauma/acute cases at a Level II trauma center
• Able to complete credentialing in the facility’s stated timeframe (60 days from application)
• Availability to begin ASAP for sporadic coverage and to provide full-time coverage starting December 2025

Knowledge & Skills

• Anesthesia delivery across a wide case mix (peds, ortho, vascular, neuro, ENT, robotics)
• Proficient use of Epic EMR for perioperative documentation
• Operating room workflow and coordination in multi-OR environments
• Trauma anesthesia principles and rapid decision-making
• Endoscopy and minor procedure room anesthesia experience
• Comfort with robotic-assisted cases and complex surgical procedures
• Ability to adapt to varying shift lengths (8- or 10-hour shifts) and fast-paced schedules
