Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform OB/GYN surgeries and utilize available robotic surgical resources when appropriate
• Manage labor & delivery care including triage, deliveries, and postpartum management
• Collaborate with in-house specialists (cardiology, orthopedics, anesthesiology, etc.) for coordinated patient care
• Consult with perinatology and support Level II NICU care with on-site pediatric hospitalist coverage
• Participate in call rotation and contribute to a collegial, team-oriented practice environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and active medical license in Iowa (or ability to obtain)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Demonstrated surgical skills in OB/GYN and experience with labor & delivery
• Comfortable providing inpatient and outpatient care and participating in call (approximately five days/month)
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and consult specialists as needed
• Accepting H1B visa waiver candidates (J1 not accepted); locum-to-perm candidates will be considered

Education

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, and labor & delivery management
• Experience or interest in robotic surgery and operating room workflow
• Familiarity with perinatal consultation processes and Level II NICU support
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-centered care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary hospital setting
