Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care following established protocols and best practices
• Perform assessments, document findings, and collaborate with the care team to create effective care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to the care team
• Participate in unit-specific competencies and training to maintain clinical skills
• Support patient and family education with compassion and clear communication
• Complete required documentation and compliance tasks including skills checklists and competency testing

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state license required)
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications as listed in the order
• Successful License/Certificate Verification prior to start
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit test and Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed as part of onboarding
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment and able to work collaboratively

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and completion of NCLEX-RN

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in acute care nursing procedures and emergency response
• Experience with unit-specific competency testing and skills checklists
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to documentation detail and regulatory compliance
• Ability to adapt to new electronic health records and local workflows
