Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging across adult acute care settings including ED, ICU and trauma — your images support lifesaving decisions
• Prepare and safely administer contrast media and document administration per protocols
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture with care and efficiency
• Operate GE CT scanners and PACS; perform image display, 3D rendering, MPR and ROI measurements to support diagnostic teams
• Perform specialized CT procedures such as Coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, biopsies and aspirations when required
• Chart accurately and promptly in Epic — Epic charting is a hardstop for this role
• Follow radiation safety and isolation precautions to protect patients and team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV teams, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, Transport and Radiology) to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent care

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification (preferred) and current State licensure in Oregon
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience with at least Level III trauma hospital experience
• Proven experience with Epic charting (required)
• Competence in preparation and administration of contrast media
• Comfortable performing and documenting peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
• Experience with specialized CT procedures (Coronary CTA, vascular CTA, CT arthrography, biopsies, myelography) is a strong plus

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging techniques and protocols
• PACS operation and image management
• Epic charting and electronic documentation workflows
• 3D rendering, maximum intensity projection, volume rendering
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Radiation safety best practices and isolation precautions
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• IV insertion / starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
• Familiarity with GE CT equipment and trauma imaging workflows
