Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and report accurate clinical laboratory testing across assigned departments to support patient care
• Execute quality control, instrument calibration and routine maintenance to ensure reliable results
• Handle and process patient specimens with attention to chain of custody and proper labeling
• Document results and procedures clearly and timely in the laboratory information system
• Collaborate with nursing and provider teams to prioritize urgent testing and communicate critical values
• Follow safety, infection control and regulatory (CLIA) guidelines to maintain a compliant lab environment
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and assist with training teammates when needed

Qualifications

• MLS or MLT certification (MLS/MLT) required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical laboratory experience
• Strong familiarity with laboratory best practices, quality control and specimen handling
• Ability to work overnight shifts and communicate effectively with clinical teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with routine laboratory testing and equipment operation
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills for instruments and assays
• Comfort using laboratory information systems and accurate data entry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and patient safety
• Professional communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
