Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (5 x 8-hour day shifts; actual start may fall between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM)

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments using careful setup and alignment to ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy
- Perform CT simulation and assist with treatment planning to create individualized care plans
- Complete chart and film checks, room setup, calculations, and MOSAIQ documentation before each treatment
- Assess patient status during direct interactions and coordinate appropriate referrals to the multidisciplinary care team
- Collaborate closely with radiation therapists, physicians, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to optimize patient care
- Maintain equipment and treatment area readiness, following radiation safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience
- ARRT certification required
- California RTT license required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred
- Comfort working day shift hours and collaborating within a busy oncology department
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in patient setup and immobilization techniques
- CT simulation for radiation therapy planning
- Treatment planning fundamentals and treatment delivery workflows
- Proficiency with MOSAIQ electronic medical record systems
- Familiarity with Varian TrueBeam systems (preferred)
- Strong communication and patient-care skills, including assessing patient status and making referrals
